We require all groups to become a member of KICS. As this may be a hardship for some groups, free membership is available to groups who cannot afford to pay the yearly membership fees.

Funding for this initiative has previously come from the Government of Canada's Community Access Program (CAP), the Province of British Columbia, and the Regional District of Central Kootenay; however KICS currently receives no government funding.

Groups are encouraged to buy a KICS Membership according to their annual budget. Recommended organizational subscription levels are below, but support at any level you feel comfortable with is appreciated. Organizations may apply to KICS for a free membership, subject to a special resolution of the Board of Directors.

$25 - $50 Low Budget
$50 - $90 Medium to Low Budget
$90 - $120 Large to Medium Budget
